Thunder Rose is an original band from the foothills of Mount Airy, NC, built on the collaboration of three multi-talented writers and musicians. The combination of unique and individual sounds creates a wide variety of genres that come to life in the studio and on stage. With seasoned artists who have played near and far with some of the best musicians in the world, the roots of Thunder Rose remain true to the heart of Mount Airy.
How it All Began...
In a basement recording studio, Gary and Leah recorded a song for a major country artist. Years later, they joined forces again. After a move to Mount Airy, NC, Gary met Joanna in a junk store and the rest is history...
